1. Website purpose

This website presents the Vintage Journal House collection of journals and an indicative Global Commercial Distribution trial-order framework. Vintage Journal House is the export-facing brand of CNMA Enterprise, Kolkata, India. The website is intended for importers, distributors, retailers, corporate gifting companies and other professional buyers. Website content is general information and does not by itself create a binding offer or contract.

2. Enquiries, quotations and orders

An enquiry is a request for information. After the buyer’s requirements are reviewed, a quotation is issued and remains valid for 15 calendar days unless it states otherwise. Specifications and artwork are approved before the pro forma invoice is issued. A purchase becomes binding only when the applicable order documents are accepted and the required payment is received, subject to the terms stated in those documents.

3. Handmade products and specifications

Our journals have a nominal finished size of 127 × 178 mm (5 × 7 inches), with handmade dimensional variation up to 6 mm. Each journal contains 100 physical sheets / 200 writing pages of blank, warm off-white handmade paper. The cover is PVC leatherette made without animal leather. Minor variations in colour, texture, paper edges, embossing, stitching, hardware and dimensions may occur and form part of the product’s individual character. Final design, size, materials, page count, branding, packaging and acceptance tolerances are confirmed in writing before production. Photographs are representative and can appear different across screens.

4. Pricing, payment and taxes

Final pricing depends on the approved specification, quantity, packing and delivery arrangement. Payment terms are stated in the quotation or pro forma invoice. For opening orders, production scheduling begins once the order specifications are confirmed and the full order value has been received. Once production has been scheduled and materials allocated, cancellation adjustments are assessed according to committed materials and completed work; any approved balance may be issued as credit toward a future order. Buyers are responsible for destination-country duties, taxes, import clearance and other charges unless expressly included in writing.

5. Production, delivery and risk

Production and dispatch estimates begin after the required payment, artwork and specifications are approved. The opening-order production window is a maximum of 25 working days; lead times for 500 pieces and larger quantities are quoted case by case. Quotes are offered FCA Kolkata Airport, India (Incoterms® 2020), unless another delivery arrangement is agreed in writing. The exact cargo handover point is stated in the pro forma invoice according to the buyer’s nominated forwarder. Vintage Journal House arranges export clearance; main carriage, cargo insurance, import clearance, duties and destination charges are for the buyer’s account unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Product evaluation, branding and buyer artwork

The standard commercial trial begins at 200 pieces. An opening order may include up to two designs, with a minimum of 75 pieces per design. Buyer evaluation is supported through the product specifications, photography and close-up imagery available across this website rather than individual physical sample units. Buyers may include any remaining product questions with their enquiry. Where a buyer supplies a name, logo, artwork or other material, the buyer confirms that it has the necessary permission to use it and is responsible for claims arising from unauthorised material. Branding remains subject to technical feasibility and written approval.

7. Quality review and claims

Quality review includes incoming material-condition review, page-count verification, binding and stitching checks, sampled visual checks for stains, moisture, mould and odour, final quantity verification, final packaging review and retention of a reference unit for repeat-order consistency. Photographs of the completed commercial batch, individual packing and prepared export cartons can be provided for review before carrier handover.

Visible transit damage, shortages or packaging discrepancies must be reported in writing with photographs and supporting documents within 7 calendar days of delivery. Concealed manufacturing issues must be reported within 15 calendar days of delivery. Valid manufacturing claims are reviewed for replacement, credit or another mutually agreed commercial remedy. Transit claims are handled according to the applicable freight and cargo-insurance arrangements.

8. Product positioning and compliance

The journals are presented as general-use stationery rather than products designed specifically for children. Regulatory, testing, environmental or sustainability claims apply only when expressly supported by current documentation. Country-specific compliance, labelling and import requirements should be confirmed for the intended destination and order specification.

9. Website content and intellectual property

The Vintage Journal House name, logo, website copy, layouts and supplied product imagery may not be copied, republished or used commercially without written permission, except for ordinary internal buying review or where the relevant material belongs to another identified owner.

10. Responsible use and external links

Please do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, submit unlawful material or interfere with its operation. External services such as WhatsApp, email providers or future LinkedIn links operate under their own terms and privacy practices.

11. Liability and reasonable limits

We work to keep website information accurate, but do not guarantee that every page will always be complete, current or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, Vintage Journal House is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from use of the website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Governing approach

The parties should first try to resolve concerns through good-faith written discussion. Unless a later written contract states otherwise, these website terms are governed by the laws of India and disputes are subject to the competent courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.

13. Changes and contact
